Brief diagnostic assessments (60 minutes) include self-report measures and semi-structured clinical interviewing for preliminary diagnostic information. This information is used to provide recommendations and aid in treatment planning. Patients have the opportunity to discuss treatment options and ask questions.
Comprehensive psychological assessments are used to determine a range of psychological and behavioral health issues using diagnostic clinical interviews, cognitive batteries, and/or personality inventories.

SHAPE can provide video telehealth for those living in Montana or Utah. We use a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing software to conduct therapy and some assessments over the internet. Research indicates that face-to-face televideo therapy is equally as effective as in-person therapy.
At SHAPE, we incorporate measurement-based care to track patient improvement and collaboratively assess whether we are helping patients reach their goals for therapy.
PCL-5: PTSD Checklist for DSM-5. A 10-point change in score is considered clinically meaningful.
Initial PCL-5 score was obtained using the monthly version. Subsequent measuresments were obtained using the weekly version.
Patients completed treatment in 10, 11, or 13 sessions. Patients with fewer than 8 sessions elected to discontinue treatment prior to completion.
